Uzzeni claims victory in Swiss championship

The first round of the 2002 Swiss Rally Championship was held in France this past weekend, the Rallye Lyon-Charbonnières. However the weekend turned into one of disappointed for the Future World team as Christian Jaquillard, driving a Toyota Corolla WRC, was forced out of the event after SS2. The eventual winner for the Swiss competition was Italian driver Uzzeni, driving a Subaru Impreza WRC, although he was classified only 13th overall.
The overall winner was Rousselot (Impreza WRC), who took an easy victory, finishing nearly two minutes ahead of Cuoq (306 Maxi), Marty (Maxi Mégane) and Pustelnik (Maxi Mégane)... (Full story and headlines here.)
